Will Ferrell and Adam McKay have worked togetheron 3 film, the presenter very fun and successful and Talladega Nights andthe Step Brothers is not so funny and disappointing. Fortunately, the other guys show that the teams back in top form.
Many movies about cops in general has been set ofpartners that are so good, so bold and so heroic that are copied into "Supercops" co-workers and the general population. "Other Guys" are cops NOTthose.
The "others" are forensic accountant Alan Gamble (asuperb Will Ferrell) who likes to be a jockey office paper filing, and its partners Hoitz frustratedhard-ass detective Terry (Mark Wahlberg), who dreams of being anti-police ACRIM super. In the spirit of Hoitz, is already one of the policemen thosesuper if ... was not anchored to their enthusiasm, avoiding andtwo partners .... It has not been systematically harassed, harassed and ridiculed foraccidently shot Derek Jeter.
Hoitz sees a chance Hot Shot NYPD Super High copdetectives PK Smith (Samuel L. Jackson) and Christopher Danson (Dwayne Johnson) is forced out of action scene trulyhilarious. Ferrell as an actor is a master of andmaking obvious that sounds like fun. Wink film is a scene in which Gamble andHoitz shot down in the street near the explosion of the building. Gambleimmediately starts screaming, like on TV, that does not seem that bad and neverseems aloud. On paper, it is not fun, but Ferrell andexpressions delivery make it work. And 'the missing ingredient Step Brothers.
McKay has done an excellent police work and satires charactersfound stereotypical movie thieves. Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson'ssuper-cops are so over-the-top and the illusions of their public fight against crime abilitiesthat laughing from the start. Director shouldconsider make another film on just these two characters.
Chemistry between Ferrell and Wahlberg is good, but notgreat. But the jokes are so good and come in so fast that it does not sink themovie. If one of the jokes are too good, you really notice when JET stretch film, where the beats are so so.
Overall, this film is a winner and another highlight of the collaboration between the actor Will Ferrell and director Adam McKay.
