If you want to get rid of themselves tend to put things off, must inevitably change emotions, which lead us to procrastinate. And how can we get that is changing, ideas, thoughts and beliefs that make us feel those same feelings.
To discover the root cause of our emotions, all we have to do is recognize that when different people before an event for singles, for example, a film does not feel the same emotions, is not inevitable becausethey not interpret the film in the same way or, in other words, do not think the film the same way.
For example, when the hero of the film presses his lips burned like heroin, and the soundtrack to play at full Mary thinks, "Bravo Hefinally Did It," and feels happy. At the same time, Esther thinks, "What a bastard that he is deceived so well," He is full of anger and contempt. At the same time, Cheryl is thinking: "It 'a shame I would have loved to be in his shoes," and he feels sad.
Needlessto to say that we can not logically say that this is a scene from a movie makes you happy, angry and sad. In other words, the scene of the film itself does not have the power to provoke the feelings of the spectators. On the other hand, offers a scene from a movie, Mary Esther, Cheryl, and the ability to think, and think that you havein mind that the scene of the film, causing them to feel happy, angry or sad.
This is the first cause of all our emotions, pleasant or unenjoyable, thoughts, ideas and beliefs that come to mind about the various events in our lives.
This explains why everyone does not feel the same feelings before an event. In short, everyone just do not think that single event in the same way. And the reason that our own feelings change over time is as simple and direct: our thoughts, ideas and beliefs that change one event as well.
Almost 2000 years ago, the Stoic philosopher Epictetus said greek way: "Men are disturbed, and things happen, but their opinions on things that happen."
Nowthis to find the serious consequences of our self-destructive behavior procrastinating. In fact, as we have seen together, the delay is primarily the result of the presence of different emotions in ourselves. And, as we know, the feelings arising from, ideas, thoughts and beliefs we have in mind and have subscribed.
Therefore, it logically follows that if we let go of themselves, they tend to put thingsoff inevitably have to change your emotions, which lead us to procrastinate. And how can we get that is changing, ideas, thoughts and beliefs that make us feel those same feelings.
Wealready know it is possible for us to change our thoughts, ideas and beliefs, at least in certain subjects. As offact, we have since our childhood. For example, we think the same way in 40 years than it did in six or ten years, at least not in all areas.
But if what's more, we came torealize that some of the ideas that hinder our operations are false or exaggerated, it would be easier to work with us to break these habits of thought in order to change the emotions that lead us to procrastinate?
