Another winter holiday season is upon us, and the theme seems to be universal. You can call your holiday, Christmas Kwanza, Hanukkah, Ramadan, or the winter solstice. This is a turning point, a time to celebrate light and hope of new life. The common element is that we all see it as a time to honor the Spirit in our ways.Here best and highest in the United States, the Christmas holidays and gifts is prevalent is the great tradition. There are many stories behind the "why" of this tradition. Many say it is to follow the example of the Magi, who came to give their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the infant Jesus. (See Matthew 2:9-11) We want to have a joyful time, and remain aware of our values. At a time when people say "peace on earth, good will toward men," How is that it should be something so special can become so stressful? Whenever we feel threatened to give, it means that he has never enough. Much time and money going to make our loved ones a happy holiday, that we end up worrying how we are going to do everything.
